Prodigy and KLF, the craziest bands EVER!!!

  2. October 24th, 2007 at 19:14 | #2

Brilliant. If i am not mistaken that is Glenn Hughes on vocals, the former Deep Purple singer from the 1970’s. Great voice. Really makes it ROCK ! !

yep you didnt say that but i like to think that you did so that my comment below appears to make sence. how do you expect me to carry one a halfway meaningful public debate if your not gonna at least try and play along and make some completely outlandish claims that try to answer me and just miss what im saying…

I never said anything about “the end of the world”. It’s about astrology and entering a new era. The KLF reference love, time, and even Aqarius in their songs. It just so happens that some astrologers contend that the Age of Aquarius begins in 2012, which is also the end of the Mayan calendar. But yes, the Age of Aquarius is technically “preordained”.

umm you do know the end of the mayan calender just means a new beginining or a start of the new calender it dosnt mean the end of the world in any literal sence trouble is people like something to blame misfortune on so they make more of things than they are ment to be. in other words to gutless to take responsibility for there own actions or lives. so why not take the easy road and blame it on some pretend preordained coincidence.

(continued from below) … By the way, incredible version of this song. I’ve never heard this before.

(continued from below) … By the way, listen to the notes that are sung when they are bellowing “America” during the bridge. They are actually singing the notes to The Age of Aquarius, a song from the ’70s. But they are replacing the word Aquarius with the word America. Very interesting ….

Now that I”m much older, I can see the hidden meaning in KLF’s songs. What Time is Love, 3am Eternal. Reminds me of the people who profess time to be the 4th dimension. Also: the Mayan Calendar. 2012, and The Age of Aquarius (which is the age of love and understanding).

If anyone but the KLF were doing it, then you probably could take it as a **** up to America.

But Discordians do nothing particularly seriously - so it’s drenched in cynical manipulation and underlying mockery.

The “we love you, America” is so cliche. The epic choral section is so ludicrously over-the-top.

Like all the best surrealism, it turns the act of taking the **** into a pure art form.
